"The Scabious Fairy" by Cicely Baker (1895-1973). Cicely Baker was born in Croydon, England. She enrolled at Croydon Art Society at the age of 13 and was elected a life member three years later at the age of 16. Cicely was the illustrator who created the famous Flowers and Trees Fairies.
